Here we have a hugs & kisses tablecloth. Supplies needed: White tablecloth, black paint & medium/small paintbrush. This next step is easy! Paint Xs & Os all over your tablecloth in no specific manner. If it looks & feels right you are good to go!

Happy Hump Day!

2015/01/img_3603.jpg

Bonjour my dumplings! Today I’ve decided to talk about some things that are very dear to my heart, but honestly quite embarrassing. Yes, today we are talking guilty pleasures.

2015/01/img_3606.jpg

1. The infamous reality show Are You The One which airs on MTV! Is it completely ridiculous? Oh absolutely, but something about a houseful of guys & unlimited alcohol really tickles my fancy. The drama is endless just like the amount of tears.

2015/01/img_3608.png

2. The delicious, but not so nutritious Meat Lover’s Breakfast Burrito from Jack & The Box! Don’t judge me! This burrito is like a little bite of heaven.

2015/01/img_3607.jpg

3. Harry Potter! Fun fact when I was in the fourth grade I literally thought I was Hermione Granger. I still wish that Hogwarts was a real school & am a little bitter that my acceptance letter still hasn’t come in the mail.

2015/01/img_3616.png

4. We all do them, but man do I hate seeing “Car Selfies” on my Instagram feed. Hey, sometimes the lighting is just too damn good.

2015/01/img_3610.png

5. Would you like coffee with your creamer. Can I drink my coffee black? Yes. Do I? Not a chance. Coffee creamer is like a silky dream & why not enjoy the elixir of the gods with a hint of vanilla nut flavoring.

2015/01/img_3611.png

6. Overall I enjoy this photo as a whole. I’m so “punny”! Yes, you’ve guessed it N*Sync is one of my most favorite guilty pleasures. Who doesn’t enjoy the empowering music which comes from teenage boys with frosted tips.

2015/01/img_3612.png

7. McDonald’s Sweet Tea! I don’t claim to know what sweet tea from the south tastes like, but if it’s anything like this I may consider moving.

2015/01/img_3613.png

8. Little Debbie’s crack like Oatmeal Creme Pies. Whoever thought to put marshmallow like goo between two chewy oatmeal cookies deserves an award. Having a bad day? Little Debbie can fix that.

2015/01/img_3614.png

9. Karaoke. Something about performing a Britney Spears Chart Topper in front of a handful of drunk people I don’t know really gives me quite a rush.

2015/01/img_3615.png

10. Last, but most certainly not least; Hostess Mini Powdered Donettes. Why not enjoy a bag of tasty diabetes? These little delights could make any difficult situation a little bit better. Unless the difficult situation really is diabetes I do not suggest that you than eat a bag of mini donuts.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my guilty pleasures, as much as, I do! If you’d like to share some of your guilty pleasures please leave us a comment below. Happy Wednesday!

My 5 Favorite MAC Products!

2015/01/img_3561.jpg
Hello Ladies & happy Tuesday! Yesterday my beautiful bestie shared with you her top 5 favorite drugstore cosmetics. Today I will be sharing my 5 favorite MAC Products. If you are anything like me you LOVE MAC! I swear I’m like a kid in a candy store.

2015/01/img_3571.jpg

I have tried many drugstore foundations & have not yet found one that I am impressed with. I am all about FULL COVERAGE. Studio Sculpt by MAC is like the holy grail of foundations. It lasts me all day & I never have to worry about my makeup separating.

2015/01/img_3576.jpg

You know those days where you wake up looking like a troll? You look in the mirror & think how on earth am I going to fix these massive bags under my eyes? Well, yes you’ve guessed it MAC has a solution for you & it’s called Select Cover-Up . After putting this on I feel like a whole new fresh-faced woman.

2015/01/img_3575.jpg

I have a secret for you ladies! I am OBSESSED with powder & quite frankly I might be a little too obsessed. If there is even a glimmer of oil on my face I apply powder like crazy. The problem is that some powders are very thick & may leave you with that “caked on look” if too much is applied. That’s why I love MAC’s Mineralize Skinfinish. I apply this stuff constantly and have never found my make-up to be “cakey”.

2015/01/img_3573.jpg

Now, let’s be honest we all want to look like a naturally beautiful little woodland elf. This blush color Melba makes you look like just that.

2015/01/img_3572.jpg

Last, but most certainly not least we have lipstick. I have been wearing the shade Snob any chance I get. The color is bright & happy & gives you that extra little pop of color.

I hope you enjoyed my Top 5 MAC Products! If you guys have any makeup products that you would like to share with us please place them in a comment below!

5 Favorite Drug Store Make-Up Products

IMG_4273

Happy Monday! So today I want to talk about make-up, one of my favorite things!  However, I hate how sometimes make up can be a little pricey.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the big name make up brands like MAC, Lancome, Clinique, and Benefit, but there are some products that I prefer to buy at a drugstore (Target is my favorite).  I have compiled a list of 5 of my favorite  drugstore products that I have in my make-up bag that I LOVE! Hope you enjoy!

1.  NYX Liquid Illuminator

IMG_4249-2

This highlighter is one of my favorite make up items! Mixed with a good contour, this highlighter gives you the perfect glowing, fresh faced look! (Be on the lookout for a highlighting tutorial in the near future)

2. NYX Setting Spray

IMG_4250

My make up never feels complete without a setting spray to finish the look.  I have tried many different setting sprays and I can honestly say this one is my favorite. This spray sets your make-up and helps it last through the day.  I prefer the Dewy Finish look, but this product also comes in a Matte Finish as well.

3. Elf Cream Eyeliner

IMG_4252

I have always been a huge fan of cream eyeliners.  In the past I would spend a lot of money to get the perfect eyeliner until I found this gem! Only $1 and it works just as well as every other cream eyeliner I have tired.  Seriously, if you haven’t tried it you should!

4. Revlon Brow Fantasy

IMG_4251

I love this two in one eyebrow pencil and gel (You can tell from the picture that I clearly use mine a lot!).  It helps create the perfect shade and shape for your eyebrows! Love it!

5. Maybeline Full and Soft Mascara

IMG_4260

Out of all of my make-up products, I am most picky about my mascara.  I am constantly changing brands to try and find the perfect one.  Recently, I came across this one and I have to say it may be a keeper! It makes my eyelashes look full, long, and beautiful.  Out of all the drug store mascaras, this one is my favorite.

I hope you enjoy the products on this list as much as I do! Feel free to comment and let us know some of your favorite drug store  make-up products! Have a fabulous week! xoxo

Happy Sunday!

2015/01/img_3514.jpg

Hoping your Sunday was filled with relaxation & fellowship just as mine was. Now, today I am going to teach you a quick & easy hairstyle for those days where you would still like to look polished, but don’t want to take an eon to get ready!

2015/01/img_3511.jpg

The first step for me is showering & washing my hair. Now, you don’t have to shower first, but you want to make sure your hair has a little texture to it. If your hair is, “stick straight” the overall appearance will be different.

2015/01/img_3512.jpg

The next thing you want to do is put any products in your hair that you normally apply to your hair after a shower, & brush it through your hair. I normally don’t use the, “Loreal ever curl” but I want to give my hair a bit more of a wave for this style.

2015/01/img_3513.jpg

My hair is now brushed & ready to dry. I recently dyed my hair blonde & don’t like to apply too much heat to it so next I am going to let my hair air dry. During the in between time I won’t lie to you I took a pretty decent nap, but if you are trying to be productive you could always do laundry, wash dishes & even apply makeup!

2015/01/img_3526.jpg

My hair is now mostly dry. So, now it is time to style!

2015/01/img_3527.jpg

The supplies you are going to need for this next step is a curling iron (size of your choice. I like to use a medium sized barrel for this style) & a hair tie.

2015/01/img_3528.jpg

Now, what you are going to do is pull back most of your hair except for two chunks in the front. As you can see from above I like to part my hair in the middle for this style, but you can part really any way you prefer.

2015/01/img_3529.jpg

The next thing you are going to want to do is pull your hair up into a bun. I like the bun to be right on top of my head. Since my hair is on the shorter side some pieces tend to fall in the back. My preference is for there to be a few pieces back there, because I like this look to be a bit looser & not too polished.

2015/01/img_3530.jpg

Entering into the next step your hair should look similar to the image above.

2015/01/img_3531.jpg

Yes, you’ve guessed it now we are going to curl the pieces that lay flat in front.

2015/01/img_3532.jpg

I like to curl my hair in four sections. Two for each side.

2015/01/img_3533.jpg

How you are going to curl your hair pieces is with curling iron pointed downward coming from behind each curl & wrapping the hair around the barrel without clamping.

2015/01/img_3534.jpg

Now, that you have your four curled pieces what you are going to do is pull them down & brush your hair out with your fingers. Using a brush may leave your hair a bit on the puffy side. This is the last step so work with your hair & try what you like best. Now is the time to pin anything you don’t want hanging down.

2015/01/img_3535.jpg

Tada! There you have it a quick & cute hairstyle for those “lazy days”. If you have any questions feel free to comment below. Happy Sunday loves!

“Friyay”

2015/01/img_3437.jpg

A Very Happy “Friyay” to you my friend! Recently I had someone ask me to share my role models & inspirations so I will be doing exactly that.

2015/01/img_3442.jpg

My role models most definitely include every single one of my family members (pictured above). We have been through so much together & I have learned so much from each of their opposing personalities. They support me in everything I do & would go to the ends of the earth for me.

2015/01/img_3444.jpg

Next would have to be my amazing friends, “The Fab 5” if you will (also, pictured above. Yes that is a young Mal Pal & Jessekah). We have been inseparable since the 8th grade & I wouldn’t have it any other way. Whenever we are together it is all smiles & quick witted conversations. Good luck keeping up with us.

2015/01/img_2063.jpg

My inspiration would have to be my amazing Mama! Unfortunately, she passed away when I was younger, but she definitely gave me my keen sense of style & sassy attitude. She was always finding the good in every situation & would constantly say, “if you don’t like the way things are than change them.” She is very missed, but I see her everyday in my sister & niece.

I am very blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people! Tell us who are your role models & inspirations in a comment below. Happy Friyay everyone! Stay safe this weekend. XOXO
